Ethiopian Insurance got another spirited 1-0 win over Wolaitta Dicha Friday while Fasil continued their rather surprising slump losing 0-1 to equally poor Mekelakeya
Insurance have been involved in some high scoring games this season and on this one, they laboured through a goalless first half and most of the second half albeit keeping Fasil at bay.
They finally got their breakthrough on 71 minutes through Simon Peter. It was enough to enough to earn them the 3 points.
Former Champions, Fasil conceded a 52nd minute goal from Mekalakeya 's burly Striker, Esrael Eshetu which earned the Defence Force a rare win.
Mekelakeya with all their rich ensemble of some of the finest talent in the League have struggled to get them to hit the right notes.
They will be pleased Eshetu came to the party but apart from Minyelu Wondimu who has been lively, the other's need to step up.
There is of course, Kenean Markeneh, Bereket Desta and Fitsum Alemu, their big acquisitions.
